Police arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi from Golestan Johar area of Karachi. He was visiting different areas of the city.
The protest was announced today by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf and in this regard, Sindh Assembly Member Firdous Shamim Naqvi was visiting different areas of the city.
He was also seen making announcements in his car in Bahadurabad, Gulshan Iqbal and Gulistan Johar.
Meanwhile, when they reached Pahlwan Goth area in Gulistan Johar, the police arrested them.
Several cases were registered by the police for the riots that took place in different areas of the city on and after May 9, many of which have named Firdous Shamim Naqvi in the FIRs.
According to the police, Firdous Shamim Naqvi has been transferred to Shaara Faisal police station.
