The famous American company offered to invest 200 million dollars for the extraction and export of pink Himalayan salt deposits found in Pakistan.
According to Express News, the well-known American company Miracle Salt Works Collective In Corporation, famous for importing, manufacturing and supplying salt, met the Ambassador of Pakistan, Masood Khan, and gave him a formal briefing in this regard.
President and CEO Ahmad N. Khan, Vice President Ted M. Ballantine, Chief Communication Officer Mohammad M. Khan, Geoffrey Melander, M. Shamsher Khan were among the top leadership delegation of Miracle Salt Works Collective Inc., which came to Pakistan from different states of America and United Kingdom. , Martin Element (Vancouver Canada), Naseem Tayyeb (Vancouver Canada), Dean Territt (Vancouver Canada), Rana Rehan Anwar (St. Louis), Tony Garson (London England) and Atiq Rana (St. Louis).
The company told them that the company would invest about two hundred million dollars in the extraction, processing and global distribution of pink salt found in Pakistan.
During the briefing, the ambassador was informed that there are vast deposits of pink salt in Pakistan, which can generate an annual income of up to 12 billion dollars. According to an estimate, Pakistan has natural resources of about 22.22 billion tonnes of pink salt, which are mostly found in the Salt Range areas of Kala Bagh, Varcha, Khewra and Bahadur Khel. Thanks to these reserves, there is immense potential to initiate economic activities on a large scale.
It was reported that due to lack of policy framework, processing, packaging and facilities for global distribution, currently Pakistan earns only $70 million from the export of this unique salt while the potential is around $12 billion annually.
MSCI President Ahmad Khan told the Ambassador of Pakistan that the company is entering into a joint venture with Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation, the company plans to create global market awareness and confirm 10 million tonnes by 2030. Take out the reserves.
