A meeting of the Judicial Commission has been called for the appointment of the Chief Justice of the Federal Sharia Adaat

Islamabad: The Chief Justice of Pakistan called a meeting of the Judicial Commission to appoint the Chief Justice in the Federal Sharia Court.

Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial has called a meeting of the Judicial Commission on May 15, in which the appointment of the Chief Justice of the Federal Sharia Court will be decided.

The name of Justice Retired Iqbal Hameedur Rahman will be considered for Sharia Court.

It should be noted that Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rehman has previously served as Supreme Court Judge and Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court. He resigned from the post of judge.
