The District and Sessions Court Islamabad has reserved its decision on whether the case of illegal marriage of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi is admissible or not.
Civil Judge Nasraminullah heard the case in the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad.
Civil Judge Nusraminullah will pronounce safe verdict at 2 o’clock.
During the hearing, lawyer Raja Rizwan Abbasi argued that marriage during Eid is illegal, it is a fraud to say that if you get married on the first day of 2018, you will become the Prime Minister.
The petitioner’s lawyer said that in January 2018, Bushra Bibi was in Iddat, she was divorced in November.
The lawyer said that if the marriage was legal then why did the marriage take place again, the fraud started from Bani Gala and the marriage took place in Lahore.
The judge asked that Imran Khan’s marriage took place in Lahore, how does this court have jurisdiction?
Lawyer Raja Rizwan Abbasi told the court that Nikah Khawan was also taken from Islamabad for Nikah.
