The Islamabad High Court issued a restraining order on criminal proceedings against Chairman PTI Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case. The trial court was restrained from proceeding.

Imran Khan’s lawyer Khawaja Haris argued that the complaint for the Tosha Khana case was not filed by the competent authority, the complaint was filed by the District Election Commissioner, and the Election Commission has appointed someone as the competent authority. No letter was submitted, the Election Commission only asked its office to file the complaint, the complaint filed without the competent authority cannot be heard.

Latif Khosa’s complaint against the Chief Justice

Khawaja Haris replied that it was also objected that the matter should have gone to the Magistrate first.

Khawaja Haris requested that the complaint was filed after the stipulated time, that an injunction should also be issued on the criminal proceedings in the Tosha Khana case.

The Supreme Court directed Imran to appear in the High Court
