Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Ashraf Butt, a resident of Gujranwala, has admitted his involvement in the riots.
In a video statement, Ashraf Butt said that the leadership misleads and exploits the workers, asking everyone not to indulge in such activities.
The activist admitted that on May 9, PTI leader Muhyiddin Waraich’s camp reached the Cantt check post in the form of a rally, where he pelted stones at Pakistan Army and police personnel.
The PTI activist added that a few workers also threw petrol bombs at the soldiers.
Ashraf Butt also vowed not to be involved in such actions in the future.
