Actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who played the role of Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular Indian channel show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Alta Chashma’, revealed on Thursday that she left the show in early March this year.
She alleged that the hosts of the show sexually assaulted her.
One of the people accused by Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal is the show’s project head Sohal Ramani. He replied that Jennifer Mistry’s allegation is false and baseless.
He further said that Jennifer Mistry did not leave the show, but the production house terminated her contract, we fired her three months before the show and now she is disappointed. They are not getting work so now they are only doing it for blackmail, it is a dirty way to get publicity.
Jennifer Mistry had said in an interview that she will file a sexual harassment case against Sohal Ramani and producer Asit Modi.
Sohal Ramani said that there is a women committee in our show, why didn’t they complain there? None of us ever go into a female artist’s makeup room, actually Jennifer, the women are using the card.
