Tehran: Iran has hanged seven prisoners, including a drug dealer known as the “Sultan of Cocaine,” in two different cities.
According to Iranian media, the court hanged three operatives of the largest cocaine distribution group, including Hossein Panjak, who gained international fame as the Sultan of Cocaine.
The court spokesman says that today, along with 3 drug dealers, 4 other criminals were also hanged in the Rajai Shahr Jail of Karaj, but the identity of the four was not disclosed.
Cocaine kingpin Hussain Panjak, 32, was arrested in 2014 along with his accomplices Bada Al Hussain Emami Moghadam and Babak Aghai while they were celebrating their growing wealth.
