Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Fawad Chaudhry was arrested outside the Supreme Court.
Central PTI leaders were present in the Supreme Court building since 11 am, they were not coming out of the Supreme Court due to fear of arrest.
Islamabad Police has arrested Fawad Chaudhry under 3MPO and transferred him to police station secretariat.
Fawad Chaudhry stayed inside the Supreme Court building for nearly 12 hours to avoid arrest, the PTI leader can be detained for up to 30 days under the provisions of the Breach of Peace Act.
Late at night, Fawad Chaudhry came out of the building and spoke to the media and said that the lawyers were so divided that the power of the lawyers was also lost, today it also happened that I am being arrested in this way.
He said that the petitioner has never been arrested like this, my bail was approved in the High Court yesterday.
The PTI leader further said that Imran Khan’s arrest was also done within the confines of the court, today all the focus is on suppressing the political opponents.
He said that the improvement will be in this, we should give space to each other and move forward.
