DIG Quetta Ghulam Azfar Mahesar has said that more than 60 people have been detained in the city on charges of rioting yesterday.
Talking to Geo News, DIG Quetta said that Qasim Suri’s brother Bilal Suri is also among the arrested persons.
Ghulam Azfar Mahesar said that two riot cases have been registered in Bijli Road and New Sariab Police Station.
He said that anti-terrorism provisions have also been filed in the cases.
DIG Ghulam Azfar said that the law and order situation in Quetta is completely normal, additional personnel have been deployed at important buildings and installations.
