The Prince of Wales moved the royal family by paying tribute to his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, during his father’s coronation concert.

Prince William remembered his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II in front of a crowd of 20,000 on stage on the East Lawn of Windsor Castle on Sunday.

‘Good night to the King and all of Windsor,’ said he.

He thanked the British people and said, “Thank you all for making this evening special.”

“First of all I want to say something about my father and also that this weekend is very important,” he said.

“But don’t worry, I won’t take your whole night, as my grandmother said when she was crowned, the coronation is a declaration of our hopes for the future,” he added.

“And I know she’s up there watching over us very lovingly and she must be proud as a mother today,” Prince William said.

He said that ‘all the events were wonderful and all these events have one central and important message which is to serve the people’.

He added that ‘my father’s first words upon entering Westminster Abbey yesterday were a pledge of service, meaning that he would continue to serve’.

Prince William said: ‘Because for more than 50 years in every corner of the UK, the Commonwealth and around the world they have dedicated themselves to the service of others, present and future generations, and the people they serve. should not be neglected’.

“And perhaps most importantly, my father always supported the appreciation of people of all faiths and all communities and races,” he concluded.

Prince William addressed his father, King Charles, who was present at the event, saying: ‘Dad, I’m proud of you.’

On this occasion, all the members of the royal family present at the ceremony became emotional and were seen with tears in their eyes.
