Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) faced defeat in the Peshawar High Court Bar Elections.
Insaf Lawyers Forum has been defeated by Grand Alliance in Peshawar High Court Bar Association elections in PTI stronghold Peshawar.
Grand Alliance’s Tariq Afridi was elected as the President of Peshawar Bar by getting 985 votes, while Taif Khan of Insaf Lawyers Forum got 740 votes.
On the seat of Vice President, Sawar Khan of Mulgri Vakilan won with 1109 votes while Akhtar Ilyas of Grand Alliance came second with 1108 votes.
Grand Alliance’s Lajbar Khan was elected General Secretary by getting 925 votes.
