Karachi: Sindh Government and Flour Mills Association’s negotiations were successful after which flour mill owners announced to end the strike.
A formal written agreement was reached between the Sindh Food Department and flour mills owners under which 5 lakh sacks of wheat will be supplied to the flour mills while the quality of the wheat will be verified jointly by the representatives of the mills and the officials of the food department.
According to the agreement, wheat from all over Sindh will be allowed to be brought to Karachi from May 15.
