Fourth ODI;  Pakistan defeated New Zealand by 102 runs

Karachi: Pakistan defeated New Zealand by 102 runs to take a 0-4 lead in the series.

In the fourth match of the one-day series played at the National Stadium, Karachi, the New Zealand team was bowled out for 232 runs in the 44th over.

Captain Tom Latham scored 60 runs for the Kiwis. Mark Chapman 46, Daryl Mitchell 34, Tom Blundell 23, Will Young 15 and James Neesham 11 runs.

On behalf of Pakistan, Osama Mir took 4 wickets, Muhammad Wasim 3, Haris Rauf 2 and Shaheen Shah Afridi 1 wicket.

Earlier, batting first at the invitation of New Zealand, Pakistan scored 334 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.

Captain Babar Azam scored 107 runs scoring his 18th career century. Agha Salman 58, Shaan Masood 44, Iftikhar Ahmed 28, Mohammad Rizwan 24 and Fakhar Zaman 14 were out.

Shaheen Shah Afridi scored 23 and Mohammad Haris scored 17 runs and returned to the pavilion unbeaten.

For New Zealand, Matt Henry took 3 wickets while Ben Lister and Ish Soodi took 1 and 1 wicket respectively.
