The first lunar eclipse of this year began, the lunar eclipse lasted from 8:00 am to 12:30 am, while it was also observed in Pakistan.

According to the Meteorological Department, the lunar eclipse began at 8:14 pm, peaking at 10:22 pm.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the lunar eclipse ended on May 6 at 12:32 PM.

The eclipse was visible in most parts of Asia, including southern and eastern Europe.

The eclipse was also visible in Australia, Africa, the Pacific, Atlantic and Antarctica.

According to Director Institute of Space Science Dr. Javed Iqbal, this lunar eclipse is penumbral, during which the moon’s brightness dims.

Javed Iqbal added that during a penumbral lunar eclipse, the moon is 10% less bright than usual, penumbral eclipses are usually difficult to observe.
