Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that it has been our position since the beginning that relations with India should be normal.
While holding a press conference in Goa, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the situation became difficult after the unilateral step taken by India in August 2019, by which India violated the UN resolutions.
Bilawal Bhutto said that there has been no change in Pakistan’s policy regarding Kashmir, India has to create a conducive environment for dialogue.
The foreign minister said that if India violates international and bilateral agreements, what will be the future of the talks?
Bilawal Bhutto said that at no point did it seem that the forum was affected due to India-Pakistan differences, whatever the stand of the people and media of India, we want better relations, the way my arrival was covered. It shows that the importance of Pakistan is more.
He said that there was a meeting with various foreign ministers on the occasion of the meeting, separate meetings were held with all the foreign ministers except one.
Bilawal Bhutto regarding India-Pakistan relations said that PPP has always maintained that relations with India should be normal, India must return to the situation of Kashmir on August 4, 2019, India should create a favorable environment for dialogue. It has to be done, the people of Pakistan and India want peace.
Bilawal Bhutto said that in 2026 the chairmanship of SCO will be with Pakistan, peace is our destination.
Talking about sports, the foreign minister said that our blind cricket team was supposed to go to India but they were not given visa, sports should be separated from politics and foreign policy.
The Foreign Minister added that Jaishankar fulfilled his responsibilities as India’s host.
