PTI approaches Islamabad High Court for rally in capital

Islamabad: PTI approached the Islamabad High Court to hold a rally in the federal capital.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf filed an application in the court for permission on the issue of non-issuance of NOC for the rally in Islamabad on May 6, in which it is requested that the Deputy Commissioner be ordered to issue the NOC for the rally. To be given.

In the petition, it has been said that in the light of the Supreme Court’s 2022 decision, the rally from Zero Point to F-Nine Park should be allowed. Harassment of PTI’s peaceful workers should be stopped. Orders should be given to the DC to direct the IG to provide security for the rally.

In the petition on behalf of PTI, it was stated that the DC was approached for the NOC of the rally but they refused. To express solidarity with the judiciary, PTI has announced to take out rallies across the country on Saturday.
