Cairo: 17 people were killed and 29 injured as a result of a terrible collision between a truck and a bus in the province of Al-Wadi al-Jadeed, Egypt.
According to the reports published in the international media, the local authorities said that this terrible traffic accident happened in the northwestern province of Al-Wadi al-Jadeed, where a high-speed bus collided with a truck on the highway.
The accident was so severe that the front half of the bus was completely destroyed and the bodies of some passengers were removed by cutting the body of the bus.
According to the spokesman of the Ministry of Health of Egypt, as soon as the accident was reported, rescue teams including ambulances arrived at the accident site and the bodies and injured were immediately transferred to nearby hospitals.
According to reports, the ill-fated bus was carrying 45 passengers to the capital Cairo when it met with a terrible accident.
