Islamabad: The Supreme Court has issued notices to the parties, including the Balochistan government, on the bail application of Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman, the head of the Gwadar Haq Du Tehreek.
A two-member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Justice Sardar Tariq, heard the bail plea of Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman, the head of Gwadar Haq Du Tehreek.

Lawyer Kamran Murtaza replied that the accused was leading the movement to give water in Gwadar, Hidayat Rehman is not related to the murder incident, he was only asking for water.

The police have arrested Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman on the charge of killing police constable Yasir Ali. The accused Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman is accused of inciting and directing the murder.
A case was registered against Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman in December 2022 under the provisions of murder, terrorism.
