All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association (APCMA) says that cement sales have decreased.
According to the announcement in this regard, the sale of domestic cement has decreased by 16 and a half percent in April.
APCMA says that the total consumption of cement in April was 29 lakh 51 thousand metric tons while last April cement consumption was 35 lakh 36 thousand metric tons.
According to the association, local consumption of cement in April decreased by 25% to 25.31 lakh tonnes, while exports of cement increased by 168% to 4.20 lakh tonnes in April.
According to the announcement, the total consumption of cement in the 10 months of the current financial year was 3 crore 65 lakh tonnes.
APCMA says that cement consumption has decreased by 17% in the 10 months of the current financial year, domestic consumption of cement has decreased by 16% to 3.30 crore tonnes in the current financial year.
Cement exports declined by 28% to 34.5 lakh tonnes in the first 10 months of the current financial year.
The statement said that due to the economic crisis, cement consumption is being adversely affected.
