The release of the controversial anti-Islam film 'The Kerala Story' before the elections in India

Karachi: Preparations for the release of the anti-Islamic film The Kerala Story have been completed before the elections in India, the application of which is pending in the court to stop its release.

Bollywood’s anti-Muslim propaganda film ‘The Kerala Story’ will be released in Indian theaters on May 5. Many political and social figures, including the Chief Minister of the Indian state of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, have called it ‘propaganda’.

The film claims that around 32 thousand women are missing from Kerala and these women have joined ISIS after accepting Islam and have been sent to other countries of the world including India for terrorist activities.

According to an Indian media report, the Chief Minister of Kerala has accused the film’s producer and writer Vipul Amrit Lal Shah of promoting the propaganda of the Singh Parivar through the film, which aims to use ‘Love Jihad’. Kerala state is to be discredited by showing it as a hotbed of religious extremism.

Many socio-political leaders of India have rejected the allegations made in this film by announcing a boycott of the film. The Kerala story is also among the top trends on Twitter these days.

However, actress Ada Sharma, who played the lead role in the film, defended her film and wrote in a tweet that ‘The Kerala Story is not about any election, agenda or religion, but it is about death and life, terrorism versus humanity. .’

Ada Sharma further wrote that ‘Calling it propaganda is like hiding the story of every girl whose life was ruined.’

It should be noted that the Legislative Assembly elections in the Indian state of Karnataka are scheduled to be held on 10 May 2023 to elect all the 224 members of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly.

The release of the film ‘The Kerala Story’ before the elections is an anti-Islamic propaganda by Indian extremists.
