The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration detained 5 suspects, including a British citizen of Afghan origin and 2 agents, who were traveling on fake documents from Karachi Airport within a few hours.
The accused have been handed over to Anti-Human Trafficking Cell for investigation.
According to FIA immigration sources, Zohaib Jan, a British national of Afghan origin who traveled to Dubai on Pakistani travel documents, was arrested for fraudulently obtaining a Nicope card reserved for overseas Pakistanis.
Arif Khan, a passenger who was going to Italy on a suspicious document from Karachi Airport, was also detained.
In another operation, a passenger going to Canada on a forged document, Nimat Ali, has been detained.
According to FIA sources, 2 agents were also detained from the parking lot of the airport on the identification of the arrested passenger Nimat Ali, who came to drop the accused Nimat Ali from the airport.
All the arrested accused were handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Cell for investigation.
