ChatGPT is a popular but controversial artificial intelligence platform capable of answering questions on a variety of topics, including health and fitness.
But can ChatGPT provide us with reliable medical information? To get the answer, the experts developed some common health-related questions, the answers to which were used to test the chatbot’s ability to see how accurate the information provided was.
OpenAI’s chatbot has become an advanced platform for writing content on a variety of topics that has become proficient enough to answer even the toughest exams like the US Medical Licensing Exam.
Along with producing emails, articles, and other written content, some people also use ChatGPT for information on health and wellness issues. However, experts believe that it cannot provide 100 percent correct medical advice.
To test ChatGPT’s ability to provide accurate and up-to-date medical information, experts asked some common health-related questions and analyzed the answers.
Experts found that a chatbot can adequately answer health questions but does not incorporate recent research findings. In addition, the imitations of other medical sources and the information provided to the readers about medical conditions are very vague.
