Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry says that the Election Commission has given a notice to PTI that they cannot hold a rally on Labor Day.
In his statement, Fawad Chaudhry said that the purpose of May 1st holiday is to stand with the position of workers and their rights, political parties take out rallies for the rights of workers.
The PTI leader said that the entire society seems to be standing with its workers, it is surprising to say that they cannot hold a rally on May 1.
He said that what is democracy in Pakistan, where do we want to take the country, the Election Commission is imposing restrictions on rallies, sending notices to the leadership, sending notices to the leadership is illegal, it should be withdrawn.
Fawad Chaudhry further said that yesterday’s rallies should be allowed in Lahore, Peshawar and Islamabad as normal. If they cannot come out for the rights of workers, when can they come out?
