Case set for hearing against Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Bill

The case against the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Bill was fixed for hearing.

An 8-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Atta Bandial will hear the case on May 2.

The Supreme Court issued notices to the Attorney General, Supreme Court Bar, Pakistan Bar Council.

Apart from this, notices have also been issued to 9 political parties including Muslim League-N, People’s Party, Tehreek-e-Insaaf.

It should be noted that the Supreme Court had stopped the implementation of the Judicial Reforms Bill at the last hearing.
