The trial of journalist Arshad Sharif’s murder case will begin today in the District and Sessions Court Islamabad.
Arshad Sharif’s murder case will be tried in the court of Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah.
Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah has today issued summon notices to two witnesses in the case.
The court has called late Arshad Sharif’s widow Soumya Arshad and close associate Ali Usman as witnesses.
Arshad Sharif murder case is registered in Ramna police station under the section of murder in which 3 accused Waqar Ahmed, Khurram Ahmed and Tariq Ahmed are named.
All witnesses and evidence will be produced before the court.
It should be noted that Arshad Sharif, who arrived in Kenya’s capital Nairobi on August 20, 2022, was shot dead on October 23, 2022.
