Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has said that the status of the Parliament will have to be accepted, it cannot be dictated, there is no objection to the Supreme Court, the Constitution can be amended.
Raja Pervez Ashraf while addressing the Federal Executive Council (FEC) of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFJ) said that no force can deprive journalists of their rights.
He said that he stands with them for legislation for the rights of journalists.
Speaker National Assembly said that dictators were allowed to amend the constitution, when dictators come, Sumoto notice is sleeping.
Raja Pervez Ashrif said that the collective knowledge of 25 crore people should be respected by the Parliament, the observance of the Constitution is mandatory for all.
He said that elections were said to be held in 90 days, Parliament has been sidelined, Punjab elections are called but KP elections are not mentioned.
The Speaker of the National Assembly said that Imran Khan says to dissolve the assemblies on the order of General Bajwa, which law allows to dissolve the assembly on the order of a general.
Raja Pervez Ashraf said that social media is being used to spread hatred.
