Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq says that even caretaker governments are not focused on elections, going towards elections is the only solution to the problems, they do not want Pakistan to become Libya and Sudan due to political chaos.
While holding a press conference in Lahore, Sirajul Haq said that everyone is contacting the political parties, they want the 2023 election not to be a watershed election. The date of election cannot be fixed at the whim of a party.
Sirajul Haque said that like the legislature, the judges are not on the same page, it is better to leave the matter to the politicians instead of taking a hasty decision. If politics is to be done on the basis of kill and die, then there will be no politics and no democracy.
The Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami said that the way for the election will have to be found through negotiations, when 90 to 105 days have passed, what is wrong with them in 205 days.
