Awami Muslim League chief and former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed says that the court has suspended my police summons notice.
Talking to the media outside the Islamabad High Court, Sheikh Rasheed said that the court has summoned the IG Islamabad on the 6th.
Sheikh Rasheed added that the court has said that there is no justification for the notice.
Earlier, the Islamabad High Court issued a notice to the police while suspending the summoning notice to Sheikh Rasheed’s police station.
Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid appeared in the court with lawyers during the hearing on Sheikh Rashid’s application against the police station summons.
The court asked the IG Islamabad to appoint a senior officer who would appear on record on February 6. Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri issued the notice on Sheikh Rasheed’s request.
