Rawalpindi: In a double murder incident near Milad Chowk area of Sadar Wah police station, the husband shot and killed the newlywed bride and her cousin.
After the double murder, the accused wanted to take the dead bodies to Mardan and disappear.
According to the police, Irfanullah was married to Masmata Rahima Bibi a few weeks ago, after which she was living with her husband. The husband had gone to work and when he came home from work, he found his cousin Irshad there with his wife. Found and killed both on the spot by firing on the evidence of the alleged relationship.
After the murder, both the accused and his family members were preparing to transfer the bodies to Mardan, when the police and Rescue 1122 got the information, they reached the spot and after taking necessary action and collecting the forensic evidence, they transferred the bodies to the hospital for post-mortem.
On the notice of CPO Rawalpindi Khalid Hamdani, the police arrested Irfanullah, the husband of the victim of the raid, CPO Rawalpindi said that the accused has been arrested and should be brought to justice with solid evidence. will
