Karachi: Shahr Quaid’s well-known builder Muhammad Lakhani and his driver were injured as a result of firing on the vehicle.
According to police sources, a white Corolla car overtaking on the road from Garden Interchange in Karachi area to Manghopir Road opened fire, as a result of which builder Muhammad Lakhani and his driver were injured.
Police said that Mohammad Lakhani had left his house near Karsaz at 1:20 PM along with his driver and was going to the site area from Lyari Expressway.
At the Garden Interchange, the vehicle was descending towards Manghopir Road when 4 suspects in a white Corolla opened fire on the vehicle, but due to retaliatory action, the suspects escaped.
Seven bullet casings were found from the vehicle of a well-known builder, while one bullet hit Mohammad Lakhani in the stomach.
