A detailed report of the damage was revealed during the commotion over Imran Khan’s appearance in the judicial complex.
Islamabad Police has submitted a damage report to the Islamabad High Court in the case of disturbance on the appearance of Imran Khan in the judicial complex and on the request of the Assistant Commissioner for contempt of court against Imran Khan.
The report said that the situation was terrible due to the large number of PTI workers, the police force was attacked during the appearance of Imran Khan, 34 policemen posted in the judicial complex were injured, 3 FC jawans were seriously injured. .
2 vehicles and 3 motorcycles of Islamabad police were burnt, 7 private motorcycles were set on fire, 21 police vehicles were badly damaged, 60 lakh rupees were lost in terms of damage to the vehicles.
The report said that the windows and furniture of the judicial complex were damaged, a case was registered under the provisions of terrorism in Golra police station and CTD, 355 accused were arrested, 245 accused were sent for identification parade. 68 accused were sent to jail on judicial remand.
According to the report, activists were instigated to attack the court premises, Imran Khan completely failed to stop the activists, JIT has been formed to investigate the cases.
