Rawalpindi: DG ISPR Major General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry has said that the Pakistan Army has reduced the budget and expenses in view of the economic situation.
While talking to the media, DG ISPR said that after reviewing its expenditure in view of the economic situation, it has decided to reduce petroleum, ration and non-operational movement, the implementation of which has started.
He said that the Chief of Army Staff cut the army budget for the construction and development of Gwadar and welfare projects and then the welfare projects were announced.

The DG ISPR further said that the Swat blast was not a terrorist incident but was caused by the explosion of explosives stored there. Thanks to the efforts of Pakistan Army, there is no Nogo area in Pakistan today.
