Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif convened a meeting of the coalition parties of the government at 12 noon, while Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf convened a meeting of the National Assembly at 4 pm.
According to Express News, the meeting of the National Assembly will be held today at 4 pm, the nine-point agenda of which has also been released.
According to the agenda, in the session of the National Assembly, the legislation on the Trademark Amendment Bill 2023, increase in gas meter rent on a monthly basis and the increase in the rate of inflation in the country will be discussed.
Apart from this, the point of objection, question period, and the report of the Standing Committee on Drugs will also be part of the agenda.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called a meeting of the parliamentary leaders of the coalition parties at 12 noon at the Prime Minister’s House, in which a detailed consultation will be held on the current political situation of the country, while the MQM wants to clear the reservations on the census. It will be discussed.
Later, the Prime Minister will host an Eid Milin dinner in honor of the members of all the coalition parties at 7 pm.
