The Saudi ambassador in Khartoum says that Saudi Arabia is in contact with the warring parties for a ceasefire in Sudan.
He said that the evacuation of Arab and foreign citizens from Sudan is ongoing, ships carrying more than 2,000 people are about to depart from Port Sudan, and efforts are being made to calm the situation in Sudan and for a ceasefire.
The Saudi ambassador also said that work is ongoing to stop the tension between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Action Forces, the Saudi leadership has provided all the facilities for the withdrawal from Sudan.
