The preliminary report of the explosion at the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police station in Swat’s Kabal has been released.
Police have said in a preliminary report that there is no evidence of an attack from outside so far, there is a high possibility of an explosion due to a short circuit.
In the police report, it has been said that ammunition caught fire in the warehouse of the police station, due to which 13 people were martyred and more than 30 injured.
DIG CTD says that the explosion took place in the old office of CTD, it does not appear to be a suicide or terrorist incident.
According to DIG CTD, due to carelessness, there was an explosion in the weapons kept in Kot, two CTD officials were martyred in the explosion.
The DIG says that 18 personnel of CTD have been injured in the blast.
