Islamabad: FBR’s Customs Intelligence team recovered bags of sugar and urea worth crores of rupees in a major operation in Nushki district of Baluchistan.
According to the Customs officials, the Customs Intelligence Department received information from reliable sources that a large amount of sugar and urea has been stored in the warehouse of a flour mill located in Nushki area, which is to be smuggled abroad. A large quantity of sugar and urea fertilizer was recovered by raiding the flour mills along with the law enforcement agencies.
Customs officials say that 10,000 bags of sugar and 1200 sacks of urea are included in the goods seized from Godaram and the value of the seized goods is more than 6 crore rupees. has been handed over.
It should be noted that after the federal government banned the transportation of notified commodities containing wheat, flour, sugar and urea in the border areas, the Customs Department of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued an order to Afghanistan, India.
