The rescue operation was completed 5 days after the landslide in Torkham. 8 bodies and 12 injured people were removed from the debris of the landslide.
The difficult mission was completed by pulling 27 trucks and containers from the wreckage.
It should be noted that the army, FC, 1122 and civil administration jointly completed the rescue operation.
The affected persons and their families expressed their gratitude to the Pakistan Army and the district administration for the rescue efforts.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Abdul Nasir said that Geological Survey of Pakistan team visited Torkham. Experts inspected the Torkham landslide site.
DC Abdul Nasser said that the experts examined the fallen rock debris, obtained samples. They will also investigate further landslide hazards.
He also said that experts will submit a detailed report on the accident to the Prime Minister soon.
