Karachi: On the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr, 2 youths drowned while bathing in the sea near Sandzipt and Manora.
According to Express News, on the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr, 2 youths drowned while bathing in the sea near Sandpit and Manora in Maripur police station limits.
Acting SHOS Sub-Inspector Sarfaraz of Mari Porthane said that the two youths along with their relatives and friends had come to the beach for a picnic on the occasion of Eid. They died.
According to the police, the deceased youths were identified as 22-year-old Abdul Kalam son of Nasib Khan and 23-year-old Ghulam Shabir son of Ghulam Mustafa, Abdul Kalam Etihad Town while the deceased youth Ghulam Shabir was a resident of New Karachi Shafiq Colony.
The police said that the natives of the two youths belonged to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the police have handed over the bodies to their families after completing legal proceedings.
