Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haque had a telephone conversation. Both leaders discussed the current political situation.
According to Jamaat-e-Islami Information Secretary Qaiser Sharif, Prime Minister congratulated Siraj-ul-Haq on Eid during the conversation.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islam Sirajul Haque said that as the prime minister, you have a greater responsibility to find a solution to the political crisis.
In response, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that after meeting with you, I am consulting with the coalition parties, a meeting of the coalition parties has been called on April 26.
The Prime Minister contacted Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Chairman People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto over telephone.
The Prime Minister also called on Sardar Akhtar Mengal, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Aftab Sherpao, Prof. Sajid Mir and Shah Owais Noorani.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also congratulated the four provincial governors on the telephone.
The Prime Minister also called caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, Chief Ministers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh and congratulated them on Eid.
