Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, the claimant of creating New Pakistan, could not even give Safe City Project and Forensic Lab to Peshawar during its rule.
Peshawar, a terror-hit city, has neither Safe City cameras nor a forensic lab.
IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Moazzam Ansari admitted the security lapse in Peshawar blast and said that unfortunately there is no safe city project in Peshawar, so help is being taken from nearby cameras.
Speaking in Geo News’ program ‘Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Ke Saath’, he said that the body parts samples of the suicide bomber have been sent to the Punjab Forensic Science Agency as there is no such facility in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He added that they are investigating when the attacker entered the police line and how the explosive material got inside.
It should be noted that 100 people were martyred and more than 140 injured in the suicide blast in the mosque of Police Lines Peshawar.
