Islamabad: On the issue of negotiations between political parties, the nominated representatives of the government have contacted Tehreek-e-Insaaf for formal negotiations, on which both parties have agreed to meet.
According to the sources, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Saad Rafiq and other leaders nominated by the government to talk to PTI contacted former Speaker Asad Qaiser and said that we are contacting you for official talks. .
Asad Qaiser informed party secretary general Asad Umar about the progress regarding the communication of government representatives. Asad Umar said in this regard that communication is a good thing, government representatives should inform about this development during the hearing in the Supreme Court.

According to the sources, the meeting between PTI and government representatives has been fixed on April 26, however, no official statement has been issued by both the parties in this regard.
It should be noted that the Supreme Court had directed the political parties to discuss and agree on a point to come to a stand on the election issue, after which the hearing was adjourned till April 27.
