Islamabad: Despite the decision of the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Bill became a formal law.

On completion of all the stages of bill approval, the National Assembly Secretariat issued a formal notification and ordered a gazette notification to the Printing Corporation.

According to the National Assembly Secretariat, the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Bill has now been enacted into law. The Supreme Court had stopped the implementation of the Practice and Procedure Bill while President Arif Alvi had sent the bill back twice without signature.
