The anti-terrorism court of Lahore sent PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur to jail on judicial remand.
A hearing was held on the request for physical remand of Ali Amin Gandapur.
The public prosecutor argued that during the Zaman Park search operation, the police recovered weapons, the arrested persons have stated that the recovered weapons were provided by Ali Amin Gandapur.
The public prosecutor said that the physical remand of Ali Amin is required to verify the statement of the accused.
The court rejected the request of the police for physical remand.
On the other hand, the Sindh Police sought the transit remand of Ali Amin Gandapur from the Anti-Terrorism Court.
Police told the court that a case was registered against Ali Amin Gandapur on April 18 in Shikarpur.
Sindh Police said that a case has been registered against Ali Amin Gandapur under other provisions including provocative speech.
