There are some men in life who are not happy with my success, Priyanka Chopra

Mumbai: Indian-American actress Priyanka Chopra says that there are men in her life who are envious of her success.

According to an Indian media report, in a recent interview, Priyanka Chopra spoke about the gender-based pay gap between men and women in Bollywood, saying that she believes that everyone should be equally successful and equal. There should be compensation, but not everyone wants it.

During the interview, Priyanka said that men get scared when they see a woman who is more successful than them. The actress revealed that there are also many men in her life who feel insecure about her success.

Priyanka said, ‘While I have the best men in my life who are happy about my success, there are also some men who are put off by my success.’

Talking about her family, the actress said that there was a time in the past when her mother earned more than her father, but they considered her as a unit because whatever she earned came home.

Priyanka said that she is proud of her husband Nick Jonas as he gives her autonomy and freedom on the work front. “I feel proud when I walk the red carpet with my husband and he steps aside and gives me center stage,” she said.

Priyanka Chopra added that we should teach our sons not to be skewered by these things. We must teach them that there is no shame in crying when it hurts and there is no shame in letting our mothers, sisters and wives be the center of attention.

It may be noted that Priyanka will soon be seen playing the lead role in her new Hollywood film ‘Citadel’, in which she is paid equal to the hero of the film.
