US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken has said that he has emphasized reducing provocation in meetings with Israeli and Palestinian officials.
Addressing a press conference in occupied West Jerusalem, the US Secretary of State said that the parties must resume negotiations to end the provocation and violence.
The US foreign minister said that a two-state solution formula has to be developed to establish peace in the region. Stopping the Palestinian-Israeli civil war is the top priority of America.
American Secretary of State Blanken said that they are trying to increase harmony and closeness between Palestinians and Israelis. We will wait for both sides to establish an atmosphere of trust and ceasefire.
He said that he reiterated America’s assurance regarding Israel’s security.
The US Secretary of State said that the US and Israel are in complete agreement to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
He said that there is concern over the growing military cooperation between Russia and Iran.
