Karachi: The first but somewhat rare solar eclipse of the year is happening today, but it will not be possible to see it in Pakistan.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has said that according to our local time, the solar eclipse will begin at 6:34 am. The gradual eclipse of the sun will be complete at 7:37 p.m. While the solar eclipse will be at its peak at 9:17 PM.

After that, the solar eclipse will end at 11:59 PM. This scene will be seen in Southeast Asia, Australia, countries around the Pacific Ocean and Antarctica. This is the reason why Europe and America will also miss it.

The Ningaloo region in Western Australia is the best place to view the eclipse where people are preparing for it.

A rare sight

According to experts, this is a ‘double (hybrid) solar eclipse’ which is also a very rare sight in itself. Although it will be seen on April 19 in some countries of the world and on April 20 in most countries, it is a rare sight. The reason is that first the moon will gradually come in front of the sun and its edges will look like a burning circle of fire. This circle is called ‘Ring of Fire’.

Secondly, after that, the moon will completely hide the sun and cause a total solar eclipse. In this sense, it is also a rare sight.
