A letter written by Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial to Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on the issue of the convention held on the Golden Jubilee of the Constitution has come to light.
The Chief Justice wrote a letter to Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on April 10, asking him to accept my congratulations on the 50th anniversary of the Constitution.
“It would have been an honor for me to attend the event,” the letter said.
The Chief Justice said in his letter that it is my prayer and best wishes that the Parliament makes good laws, Parliament makes laws that meet the standards of the Constitution.
The letter said that there are good wishes for the Parliament to enact laws that will lead to the prosperity and peace of the nation.
