A writ petition filed in the High Court against the delay in the election of the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir was dismissed.
The Chief Justice of Azad Kashmir High Court constituted a 3 member bench headed by him to hear the writ petition.
In addition to the Chief Justice, the three-member bench included Justice Syed Shahid Behar and Justice Sardar Ejaz Khan.
Azad Kashmir High Court dismissed the writ after a cursory hearing.
A larger bench of the High Court remarked that the petitioners do not come within the definition of aggrieved party, we cannot interfere in the affairs of the assembly.
It should be noted that the lawyers had filed a writ petition in the High Court yesterday on the delay in the election of the Leader of the House.
