Islamabad: FIA Cyber Crime Circle Islamabad has arrested the accused involved in blackmailing a young Australian girl by sharing indecent photos and videos.
According to officials, the Cybercrime Circle Islamabad arrested the suspect named Kamran Khan, a raid marker, in the federal capital Islamabad on the request of the Australian High Commission.
The accused is accused of trapping a young Australian girl and obtaining objectionable photos and videos of her, sharing them through WhatsApp and demanding money from the victim.
According to the FIA officials, the accused Kamran Khan has been arrested from Islamabad and his mobile phone and WhatsApp account have been recovered from his possession.
Officials say that on the request of the Australian High Commission, a case has been registered against the accused and further investigation has been started, during which more disclosures are expected from the accused.
